The Seven-Day Rock Pile Reset
One week. One rock a day. A printable seven-day practice from Give a F*ck and Don’t Suck, with a sheet of wallet cards for the seven words.

What this tool does
The thirty-day reset in the book is for people who are ready. This is the on-ramp. Seven days, one small rock each, no graphics, nobody to announce it to. If you finish it and want more, the thirty days are in the book. If you finish it and stop, you still moved seven rocks, which is seven more than last week.
If you miss a day, restart. Do not turn a missed day into a courtroom. Courtrooms have enough work.
Give a F*ck and Don’t Suck
Use it when
- You have a list of half-finished things that follows you home.
- You keep saying yes to things you have no intention of carrying properly.
- You want to find out whether the book is for you before you buy it.
The seven days
- See the rocks. List every open loop. Do not solve. See.
- Choose the rocks. Mark each item: do, decline, renegotiate, later.
- Move one rock cleanly. Close one small loop all the way.
- Stop carrying fake rocks. Say one clean no, or renegotiate one fake yes.
- Move rocks efficiently. Make one repeated task ten percent smoother.
- Sweep the gravel. Finish the last ten percent of something almost done.
- Notice the ground. Write what got lighter because you cared on purpose.
The seven words
Every list in the book hangs on one of these. Page two of the printable is a sheet of wallet cards.
| See | what the task actually is. |
| Choose | whether it is yours to do. |
| Design | the least stupid way to do it. |
| Do | the work to the standard required. |
| Check | the hidden part before you call it done. |
| Close | the loop so it leaves no ghost. |
| Carry | what you learned into the next one. |
Tell me which rock you moved
I read every one of these. Email is optional; include it if you want a reply.
